Design Note: The Instrument Roll

The Instrument Roll begins at the workbench: a flat surface for tuners, capos, reeds, slides, cables and cloths. Waxed cotton canvas gives the shell its structure; removable wool-felt sleeves separate metal from wood; solid brass handles the repeated open-and-close motion. We leave molded foam, printed logos and hidden plastic liners out of the construction. Each part can be replaced or repaired, so the roll ages with use rather than around it.

What does the roll fit?

Guitar, woodwind and pedalboard accessories: tuners, capos, reeds, slides, cables and cloths. Three removable felt sleeves can be rearranged or left out.

Does the waxed canvas transfer?

The interior is lined with wool felt; store clean, dry tools and air the roll after outdoor use. Re-wax the shell sparingly when the surface looks dry.

How is it cleaned?

Spot clean the canvas with cool water and a soft brush. Air dry away from direct heat; do not machine wash.

How does shipping work?

Orders leave the Porto studio in 1–2 business days. Tracked international delivery is calculated at enquiry.

Returns and repairs?

Unused items can be returned within 30 days. Replacement brass pulls, felt sleeves and leather tabs are available separately.
